Water Pump Replacement

Your water pump is cycling on and off for no reason? That's a classic sign it's failing. We carry Shurflo and Flojet replacements on the truck and can usually swap one out in about 45 minutes. Most jobs run $175-350 depending on the pump model.

Leak Detection & Repair

Water showing up where it shouldn't? We track it down. RV leaks are tricky because water can travel along a fitting or pipe and show up three feet from the actual source. We pressure-test your lines and find the real problem, not just the symptom.

Fresh Water System Service

From the fill inlet to the last faucet, we service the whole fresh water system. Sanitization, line flushing, pressure regulator checks, and filter installation. We also check supply lines running to your fridge ice maker and other RV appliances. Especially important down here in Florida where the water quality varies from park to park.

Waste Water & Black Tank Repair

Nobody's favorite topic, but somebody has to deal with it. Gate valves that won't seal, cracked dump fittings, clogged vent pipes. We handle all of it. We also install macerator pumps if you're tired of wrestling with a slinky at the dump station.

Water Heater Service

Whether you've got an Atwood, Suburban, or tankless Girard unit, we service them all. Anode rod replacement, element testing, thermostat calibration, and bypass valve repair. Water heaters that run on electricity may also need electrical system diagnosis to rule out bad wiring or a tripped breaker. If your hot water is lukewarm or takes forever, give us a call. Usually runs $120-280.

Faucet & Fixture Replacement

That cheap RV faucet that came from the factory? It's probably already leaking. We install quality replacement fixtures from brands like Dura Faucet and Phoenix Products. Shower heads, kitchen faucets, toilet valves. Takes about 30 minutes per fixture.

PEX & Copper Pipe Repair

Older rigs have copper lines. Newer ones are PEX. We work with both. Cracked fittings, split lines from freezing, corroded connections. We carry crimp rings, SharkBite fittings, and spare PEX tubing so we can fix it right there on site.

Winterization & De-winterization

Heading north for the summer or just storing the rig? We'll blow out the lines and add RV antifreeze to every trap and valve. And when you're ready to roll again, we'll flush the system, sanitize the tank, and check every connection before you head out. Runs about $150-200.

Common Problems We Fix

The Mystery Leak Under the Rig

We see this all the time. You notice a wet spot under your RV but can't figure out where it's coming from. Nine times out of ten, it's a fitting that vibrated loose during travel or a PEX line that rubbed against a sharp edge and wore through. Florida's heat makes the plastic more pliable, which actually speeds up this kind of wear. We'll get under there, trace the line, and fix it. Usually takes about an hour.

Water Pump Won't Stop Running

Ever had this happen? You turn on the pump and it just keeps cycling, even with nothing open. That's either a leak somewhere in the pressure side, a bad check valve, or the pump's pressure switch is shot. We test the system methodically. Start at the pump, work outward. Don't let it run like that too long or you'll burn the motor out. That turns a $200 fix into a $400 one.

Black Tank Sensor Reading Full When It's Empty

This one drives people crazy. Your tank monitor says the black tank is full but you just dumped it yesterday. The sensors inside the tank get coated with waste and debris over time, and that gives you a false reading. We can flush the tank with a specialized wand, treat it with enzyme cleaners, and in some cases install external ultrasonic sensors that read right through the tank wall. No more guessing.

Hot Water That's Barely Warm

Florida's incoming water temp is already pretty warm, so when your heater can't even get it hot, something's definitely off. Could be a bad element, a failed thermostat, or sediment buildup in the tank. On gas units, we check the burner tube for mud dauber nests. Those little wasps love to build inside the tube during Florida's warm months, and that'll kill your flame every time. We also inspect nearby AC condensation drains since a clogged HVAC drain line can leak onto plumbing components and cause corrosion.

RV Plumbing Questions We Get Asked

How much does RV plumbing repair cost?

It depends on the job. A simple faucet swap runs $80-150 including parts. Water pump replacement is usually $175-350. Leak detection and repair varies, but most jobs fall between $120-300. We always give you a price before we start, so there aren't any surprises.

Can you fix a plumbing leak while I'm still at the campground?

Absolutely. That's what we do. We're a mobile service, so we come right to your campsite, storage lot, or driveway. We carry common RV plumbing parts on the truck, so most leaks get fixed in a single visit. No need to tow your rig anywhere.

How do I know if my RV water pump needs replacing?

If the pump cycles on and off rapidly, makes a loud buzzing noise, or runs continuously without building pressure, it's probably on its way out. Low water pressure at the faucets is another sign. We can test the pump output and let you know if a repair or full replacement makes more sense for your rig.

Do I need to winterize my RV in Florida?

If you're storing the rig for more than a couple weeks, yes. Even in Florida, we get cold snaps that can drop below freezing overnight. One freeze is all it takes to crack a fitting or split a PEX line. Winterization runs about $150-200 and can save you from a $500+ repair bill down the road.

Why does my RV smell like sewage?

Usually it's a dry P-trap, a bad toilet seal, or a clogged roof vent. The P-traps in RV sinks and showers dry out fast in Florida's heat, and that lets sewer gas come right up through the drain. Running a little water through each drain usually helps. If the smell persists, it could be a cracked vent pipe or a failing toilet flange. We'll track it down.

Can you install an upgraded RV toilet or shower?

Yes, we install Dometic, Thetford, and Nature's Head composting toilets, plus upgraded shower fixtures and heads. A lot of our customers swap out that flimsy factory toilet for a porcelain Dometic 310. It's a huge upgrade and usually takes less than an hour to install.
